Desktop Publishing
Desktop publishing (DTP) refers to the process of creating and designing documents such as books, magazines, brochures, and other print materials using a personal computer and specialized software. DTP software typically includes features for creating and editing text, graphics, and layouts, and for managing typography, color, and other design elements. The documents created with DTP software are typically intended for print, but can also be exported to digital formats such as PDF.
DTP software is often used by professional designers, publishers, and printers, but it can also be used by individuals or small businesses to create their own marketing materials or publications. Some popular DTP software programs include Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Scribus.
DTP can also be used to create digital format documents like eBooks, digital magzines, interactive PDFs and more.
